Pharmacy Summer Camp
Pharmacy camp is a three-night, four-day camp that takes place on the campus of The University of Toledo each summer. The camp is open to high school juniors who demonstrate strong academic skills and an interest in pharmacy or the pharmaceutical sciences. Camp activities include field trips, job shadowing, laboratory experiences, workshops, panels, and videos. Recreational activities include free time at the recreation center and a campus scavenger hunt. Admission to Pharmacy Summer Camp is competitive, and forty students are selected for each camp session. Pharmacy Camp offers students the opportunity to learn more about careers in pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences, explore the beautiful University of Toledo campus, meet other campers their age who share the same interests, interact with UT pharmacy faculty & staff and much more! There is a $275 fee for the camp*, which includes all room and meal expenses, a workbook, and all scheduled camp activities. Students will stay in a campus residence hall with camp counselors. Summer Adventure 2010
The Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities, located on the campus of Ball State University, is Indiana's only public educational institution solely devoted to the education of gifted youth. To provide high ability students challenging and engaging experiences after the end of the school term, the Indiana Academy offers a wide variety of summer programs for students in grades 3 - 12. Summer Honors Institute at Ohio Northern University
This summer, Ohio Northern University will host its sixth Summer Honors Institute for gifted high school students who will be sophomores, juniors and seniors in 2010-2011. This year's institute includes 14 in-depth and challenging courses scheduled over a three-week period in June and July. Each week-long program provides opportunities for exploring your education and career options. It's a great way to investigate a potential career choice or major. Plus, you'll have the chance to interact with other gifted students. To be eligible to attend the Summer Honors Institute at ONU, you must: - Be entering the 10th, 11th or 12th grade during the 2010-2011 school year
- Be identified as "gifted" by an Ohio school district or be able to obtain a document stating that you meet Ohio gifted identification criteria as described in Ohio Administrative Code 3301-51-15
All students are accepted if space is available in the selected camp and completed forms are received with required documents and payment. Junior Scholars Program
Earn college credit now and apply it toward a degree later. Junior scholars typically select two courses from a list of forty classes offered by over twenty departements. In addition to coursework, junior scholars attend a series of seminars on topics such as time management and study skills, college admissions, financial aid, interpersonal relationships, cultural awareness, and alcohol awareness. A full schedule of social and recreational activities complements the scholarly parts of the Program. To be eligible, you will need to complete your junior year, have a 3.5 gpa or rank in the top 10 percent of your class. Submit an official high school transcript, along with test scores, provide a letter of recommendation from counselor, teacher, or principal, and have the approval of a parent or guardian. Hiram College Summer Academies

American Free Enterprise and Leadership Converence
The conference is held on the University of Rio Grande in June and is open to all high school students regardless of educational plans. The program addresses various economic topics including financial literacy. The curriculum offers students the opportunity to earn 2 semester college credits with tuition, room, and board paid by contributions. The only cost to students is a registration fee fo $75.00.

Summer Advancement Program at University of Dayton
Are you a high school junior? You can get a head start on college with the Summer Advancement program! Through the Summer Advancement Program, you'll get a taste of the college experience as you take regular college courses taught by University of Dayton professors. The credits you earn can be transferred to any college or university, and you only have to pay for your textbooks, transportation, personal expenses, and any laboratory or materials fees. This program is offered during the second summer session, which runs from mid-June to the end of July. Admission is competitive, so applicants are recommended to have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Ohio Business Week
Ohio Business Week (OBW) is a weeklong summer opportunity for high school students to gain valuable hands-on experience with business and entrepreneurship in a fun college setting. Students work with 10-12 other high school students and a professional businessperson to develop an idea for a start-up business venture. They will design a webpage/magazine, create a TV or radio spot, construct a trade show display, research and write business, finance and marketing plans, and conclude with a 10-minute PowerPoint presentation to a panel of business people. OBW is for current high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors who maintain a 2.5 or higher GPA, are involved in extracurricular activities, and have no history of disciplinary action. The cost is $195 to cover meals, housing, and materials for the week on campus. Financial Aid is available to families who cannot afford the entire fee. OBW 2010 will be at Youngstown State University, June 20-26 and at Ohio Dominican University, July 11-17. Space is limited and the application deadline is April 23. The Shelton Challenge
The Shelton Challenge is a one-week summer experience for rising freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors in high school with a 3.0 GPA or better offered at Urbana University. Shelton's cornerstones of values-based leadership--honesty, integrity, compassion, diversity, and social responsibility--are the foundations of the experience. The core curriculum focuses on Leadership Roles and Accountability, Team Building, Leadership Styles and Situations, Social Responsibility, Integrity as a Leader, Public Speaking, Changing Behaviors, and Goal Setting. There is a $50 non-refundable application fee which may be waived in special circumstances. The Grand River Summer Academy
The Academy is a nonmilitary, nonsectarian, college-prep boarding school whose primary goal is to prepare students, including those who are not working to their potential, for a successful college education.
